Non-licenced Asbestos Removal
All David Smith Contractors Non-Licensed Asbestos Removal-related activities are planned, carried out and managed to cause the absolute minimum disruption or concern to any third parties.
Non-licensed asbestos removal requires significant amounts of training, insurances, equipment, waste licensed and knowledge of the materials and the condition of the asbestos being removed by competent individuals following HSE protocol. All out training is carried out to UKATA standards.

Site Clearance/Enabling Works
Whilst our core activities as are disparate, the ability to carry out both groundworks and demolition, facilitates complete continuity in the re-development of brownfield sites. Asbestos removal (including asbestos in soils) demolition, processing, site preparation and sub-structure offers a complete turnkey solution for prospective clients.

David Smith Contractors provide a variety of internal strip services ranging from partial soft strip of buildings to full internal structural demolition.
On-site Mobile Crushing
David Smith Contractors have a large fleet of mobile crushers of various size and capacity together with associated screens for use within both our quarries and demolition sites. This allows us to offer good suitable crusher run and other aggregate material for projects.
Our modern fleet of crushers are quiet enough to be used in urban areas and combined with our water mist cannons can provide dust free crushing.
Recycling / Waste Management
David Smith Contractors complies with all necessary SEPA requirements to ensure our projects are as sustainable as possible for the company and the environment.
Waste and recycling streams are identified prior to commencement on site and measures are put in place to ensure efficient segregation of materials is carried out. This provides maximum reuse of materials and minimum material sent to landfill.
Hoarding / Fencing / Scaffold
David Smith Contractors hire / outsource appropriate scaffold and hoarding requirement to all required projects to ensuring health and safety is a top priority. All sites are appropriately fenced off to sure public safety an contain site waste and management.
Removal of Historical Materials
David Smith Contactors have carried out various projects under the supervision of a Conservation Architect where sections of the works have to be numbered, recorded and dismantled for rebuilding at a later date. This scope of this work has ranged from an ornate fireplace to the façade of a church.
